Rockman is a character that any Capcom fan should know about.
And those who don't know about it should be ashamed.

Rockman dates all the way ba[/img]ck to the glory days of the NES, and
has thus far lived through seven sequels and two spin-off games -
one being a racing game of moderate success, and the other is this:
Rockman X. And it has now rerached its third sequel.
Rockman X4 follows the tried and true formula of the two-dimensional
side-scrolling platform shooting game, much like Contra or Metal Slug.
Players have the ability to choose between one of two characters to
control: Rockman X or Zero. Once chosen, you are stuck with your
character for the rest of the game. Rockman X and Zero offer two
distinct playing styles. On the one hand, Rockman X is armed with his
standard gun-arm which has the ability to charge up more powerful
blasts. Zero, on the other hand, is armed with a very cool looking
light-sabre, wherein the power of one swing of that sabre is about
equivalent to a fully charged blast from Rockman X. The difference in
gameplay is obvious: Rockman X allows you to fight from a distance,
but with a very average weapon; and Zero puts you right into the thick
of the action with a pretty awesome weapon, but to the higher detriment
to your health meter since you're in a wetworks situation.

Both Rockman X and Zero have the ability to dash, jump, attack, and
cling to walls.
